Guitar player, producer and writer Rick Robbins came out of Tulsa, OK. with
roots in blues and R & B. He started out playing sessions with such greats as
Leon Russell, Joe Cocker and many of the guys from Eric Clapton and Bob Segar's bands. He came to L.A. in his teens with recording artist Phil
driscoll and spent the next 3 years as a session player at A & M records. Not
a bad beginning....
As a touring musician, Rick has played stages all over the world with artists
such as; Joan Armatrading, Rick Danko (The Band) and Paul Butterfield, Richie Hayward (Little Feat), Ray Parker
Jr, Andy Gibb, Phillip Bailey (Earth, Wind & Fire).
As a player, he has shared the stage with; George Duke, Stanley Clarke, Amy
Grant, Jim Keltner, Ringo Starr, Klaus Voorman among many others.
In the studio, he has played on albums with; John Lennon, Phillip Bailey, Phil
Collins, Ray Parker Jr., Jeff Beck, Nathan East, George Duke...and has worked with producers Jeff Barry, Phil
Spector, Lou Adler, Rob Fraboni and others.
Rick currently is a studio owner in L.A., where the Brave Souls are in the
process of recording album #2. In addition, he is producing , developing, and
